Hentsch Man’s Affordably Stylish Finds
It's rare to find a menswear line that is both classic and stylish, where you can get a well-fitted shirt and a burgundy velvet hat. That's why Hentsch Man is such a great find.
The designer, Alexia Hentsch, just wanted to find the perfect men's white shirt, and in her search ended up designing a full menswear line replete with footwear, ties, gloves, trousers, and anything else a guy may need. It's all about being well-fitted and affordable for the Hentsch man, walking in and knowing what's good, and walking out with it. Not too many bells and whistles, just good garments at a good price with great style.
You can check out their pop-up shop at Unit 15, Princes Arcade through the 23rd of December, or check out .

Design Real at the Serpentine
The exhibition "Design Real" opened last Thursday at the Serpentine and it is safe to say that the gallery's first-ever contemporary design show was a hit. The thought put into choosing the everyday objects of high design is a testament to the curatorial work of Konstantin Grcic, who worked in collaboration with Alex Rich and Jürg Lehni.
It was a cool evening and guests lingered and socialized outside where they enjoyed cocktails, while inside the gallery was abuzz with people appreciating objects they never thought they would, or objects they have always loved. Everything from sleek megaphones to super-ergonomic baby carriers was displayed to be looked at from a different perspective. With all the thought put into everyday design these days, it is easy to take for granted the sharpness of the objects around us, and "Design Real" reminds you that it is anything but arbitrary.
